Residential fuel is a fuel such as dyed diesel or kerosene that is used to heat older style homes as well as generators.

For residential heating we offer a nine month budget plan.

The nine month budget plan is for customers who like the convience of knowing month to month the amount of their heating bill. This plan simply allows you to equalize your payments for the nine month period. The nine month budget plan begins in August and ends in April.

In order to be approved for the budget plan, you must currently have or apply for an account with Benton Oil Service, and have approved credit from our credit department. If you believe you meet these requirements or would like to check the eligibility of your account, please feel free to contact Freda Benton with our AR department.

Once you are on the budget plan, you will receive a blue card in the mail between June and July that allows you to continye on the budget plan, or opt out of the plan. The blue card also gives budget customers two other options, automatic fill and summer delivery. Automatic fill is an option that allows Benton Oil to create a degree day sysytem, keeping record of your fuel usage. We then make automatic deliveries based upon your usage history, to insure you never run out of heating oil. Summer fill is an option that you select if you would like for Benton Oil to come out during the summer and fill your tank. This insures that when cold weather does arrive you will have a full tank of heating oil.

*It should be noted that once a budget season has begun, a customer can not select the budget plan until the next budget season
