Benton Oil Service is a three generation family owned and operated business. Benton Oil Service first opened its doors in 1953 as a one truck home heating oil establishment and has grown to a multimillion dollar fuel oil distributor. The growth and success of the company can be attributed to hard work and a staff of loyal and diligent employees. Everyone at Benton Oil Service strives to do a superior job, everyone from the drivers that haul the fuel, the office personnel who processes the paperwork, and the management team who keeps the work flow flowing. We pride our selves in doing our jobs to the best of our ability. We also could not have succeeded without the loyal customers that utilize our fuel oil.

Benton Oil Service’s goal of offering the best services, competitive pricing, and prompt deliveries has never altered throughout the 57 years of operations. Our years of experience have taught us that best advertisement we can receive is from our customers who are completely satisfied with our service.

We invite you to navigate through our web site and see what we can offer you. We are a licensed distributor in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and North Carolina. Benton Oil Terminal is located at 4227 Cromwell Road, Chattanooga, Tn 37421.

It is managed by Dave Montoya.

Benton Terminal was opened for operations in the spring of 1977, it was used to store enough gallons of fuel oil during what many thought would be a temporary fuel shortage so that the supply of fuel would not be interrupted. The Terminal has a capacity of 2,300,000 gallons and is used for low-sulfer diesel diesel storage that is received directly into the tank by pipeline shipments. Benton Oil Service is the only privately owned company to venture into pipeline "terminaling" in Chattanooga.
